Communication Updates

Over recent months, we’ve reviewed our communication methods – including seeking feedback from our community – to ensure they are as clear, timely, and accessible as possible. As a result, we’ll be introducing some changes during the second half of 2025 to better connect with our families and the wider community.

What’s changing now
From Friday, 15 August, our fortnightly PDF newsletter will be replaced by:

• News Page on our website – a regularly updated page sharing stories, celebrations, and events that are relevant to the wider community.
• Weekly Email – a highlights email sent every week, linking directly to new stories on the News Page.

Why the change?
This approach will:

• Provide more timely updates.
• Make information easier to find and revisit.
• Reduce the need to download large PDF files.
• Bring all school news together in one place.

What you need to do

• If you already receive our newsletter by email, you don’t need to do anything – you’ll automatically get the new weekly news email.
• If you are not yet subscribed, you can click here to subscribe. You can unsubscribe from our news email anytime.
• Our News Page is live now, and you can take a look here.

What’s coming next
Later this year, further improvements will be introduced, including:

• School App enhancements – to make quick, important updates easier to access, including reminders, forms, and sports updates.
• Parent Dashboard – a new section of the school website that will be the central home for essential school information with a long life of relevance, such as details for new families, bell times, policies, and governance documents.

We’re excited about these improvements and look forward to keeping you up to date in a simpler, more accessible way.
