Principal Update

What a beautiful day for the end of term. Hopefully some spring weather for the holidays. 

It has been a great term with so many activities, meeting whanau, working together and children progressing so much in their learning. We are proud of our tamariki and all they are achieving. In recent weeks we have seen so many examples of working in partnership with whanau. 
The teachers have enjoyed receiving correspondence and support when things have not always gone well due to children’s choices. This partnership is essential as we navigate teaching our children respect, responsibility and resilience. It’s not what happens but how it is managed and the partnership our children see between whanau and school. Thank you for the trust you place in us at these times. 
The Home and Garden show will come around very quickly next term. This is our only fundraiser for the year and we are looking forward to everyone helping out. raffle cards were distributed this week so we are thankful for your effort in selling these. Thank you to the team that have already done lots of work in the background.
